Lyme disease

Lyme disease is the fastest growing infectious disease in the Western world. Despite the seriousness of the disease and the rise in cases, research funds are inadequate, blood tests are unreliable and the treatment guidelines do not work in clinical practice.

Lyme disease can lead to a debilitating chronic illness that is poorly recognized. Both the United States and Canada have seen a steady rise in Lyme disease cases over the last decade. In the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and countries all over Europe people are suffering from the chronic debilitating effects of Lyme disease.
